Our Need To Create

Yesterday I went with my son to the art store. He was looking to buy some paint; however, it was out of his price range. I knew that he needed these tools to create, and I was more than happy to share the cost with him.

I was instantly teleported back to my childhood. I specifically remember my father, an artist, repeatedly telling me, “Seth, whatever art materials you need to create, please just ask me, and I will always make sure you get what you need.”

Those prominent words ring clear for me to this day in an even stronger voice. There is a necessity to create and to claim the tools to do so. Even in these trying times of loss and hardship, even more loudly, I hear the Father say, “I will always get you what you need.”
